I am making a documentary film on the Rio Grande Valley, TX to raise awareness of the highly endangered ecosystem here - the Tamaulipan thornscrub. Very little of it remains in Southern Texas, but it supports one of the most biodiverse regions of the United States. The film is focused on the iconic wildlife of the Rio Grande Valley, and how their home has been impacted by recent military actions and commercial development.
